Description Fine Fan 2021-10-26 08:41:36 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL-9.0.0-20211007.7

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot machine with install media.
2.When get in to the hub screen click "Installation destination"
3.Chose "Custom" at the below, then click "Done"
4.Click "Click here to create them automatically"
5.Delete big "/home" partation
6.Click "/" partation
7.On the right of the screen "Desired Capacity" input 14 times "9"
8.Click "Update Settings" on the right bottom screen.

Actual results:
The anaconda will crash "An unknow error has occurred"
...
...
...
File "/usr/lib64/python3.9/site-packages/pyanaconda/ui/gui/utils.py," line198, in_run_once_one_arg
self._func(*args,**kwargs)
OverflowError:104857599999998951424 no in range 0 to 18446744073709551615
...
...
...

Expected results:
No matter how many "9" I input, it will calculate the right space.

Additional info:
It works well on CentOS-7.9.2003/CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-2003.iso
I input about 30 times "9" here, to make sure the "/" partation will use ALL the disk space.
