I can't have a fresh cluster installed because of some not yet diagnosed problem.

So I'm going to verify this solely based on the evidence provided by Aman in comment 5, where he demonstrated that the change is present in OCP 4.9.0-0.nightly-2021-11-17-044439 build.

As noted in comment 7, I'm not judging the way how the original BZ 2005014 was fixed.
