1. Proposed title of this feature request
New Ansible module or new RHEL system role to change/remove/add grub arguments

2. What is the nature and description of the request?
Currently there is no Ansible module to update/remove/add grub arguments.
Grub arguments on RHEL 8 should be updated using grubby, while for RHEL 7 the recommended approach is to update the variable GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in the file /etc/default/grub.
A new Ansible module which takes care of both scenarios in a sane and idempotent way is desired.

3. Why does the customer need this?
The customer is implementing automated hardening for their government customers, who require compliance in accordance to several "Security Technical Implementation Guides" (STIG) published from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), in short DISA STIGs.
Some of these DISA STIGs require updating/removing/adding grub arguments. Currently that is not possible in a sane and idempotent way, only by utilizing the lineinfile in combination with the shell module.
In order to run scheduled scans with Ansible in accordance to the DISA STIGs the Ansible modules need to be idempotent to avoid a changed status, which cannot be replicated using the shell module in a sane way.

Customer wants to update/add/remove grub arguments in a sane and idempodent way

5. For each functional requirement listed, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.
Run their usual workflows utilizing the new module
