Description of problem:
In RHEL 8 and CentOS Stream 8, the systemd macros contain a misspelled macro.

%_environmnentdir /usr/lib/environment.d

This has been fixed upstream [0][1][2].  Please backport the relevant commits to the el8 systemd package.

1. rpm -E %_environmentdir
