Description Eyal Shenitzky 2021-11-01 13:28:41 UTC
Description of problem:

The fix for bug 1898049 and for bug 1710323 was to configure the engine to propagate disk errors to the client by engine-config -s PropagateDiskErrors=true.

This should be properly documented for customer to be aware of when using Windows cluster with HA cluster with scsi reservation.

Taken from @Petrs verification notes in bug 1898049 and bug 1710323:

It's necessary to do 2 things:
1) enable iSCSI reservation in /etc/multipath.conf on all hosts:

defaults {
   ...(omitted)...
   reservation_key file
}

2) configure engine:
# engine-config -s PropagateDiskErrors=true
# systemctl restart ovirt-engine
