I’ll update to the latest PyPI release, which is 1.8.4, verify python-pybids is still happy, and fix any remaining Python 3.11 issues that might exist. Version 1.8.4 still has versioneer.py 0.18, but 1.8.5 has 0.20, which fixes this issue. Since 1.8.4 is the latest version on PyPI, I’ll backport the versioneer.py from 1.8.5 for now. The python-bids-validator 1.8.4 package still won’t work immediately in the Python 3.11 COPR, since it now uses %pyproject_check_import, and the version of python3-rpm-macros in the COPR doesn’t seem to be up-to-date enough for that to work yet, but the problem in *this* package will be resolved. |
