Please resolve ASAP. Verified with: ovirt-engine-4.5.0.2-0.7.el8ev.noarch Steps: The same steps as in the bug description, except using VM template latest-rhel-guest-image-8.6-infra. Results: The imported VM can boot successfully. This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.5.0 release, published on April 20th 2022. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.5.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. Created attachment 1839606 [details] engine,vdsm logs Description of problem: Create a VM with one bootable disk, don't run the VM, export it as OVA, delete the VM, then import VM from the OVA, the imported VM has a bootable disk attached, but the guest OS can't boot, it shows: " Booting from Hard Disk... Boot failed: not a bootable disk No bootable device " Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-4.5.0-557.gd82da1f.112.el8.noarch vdsm-4.50.0.1-1.el8.x86_64 libvirt-7.6.0-6.module+el8.5.0+13051+7ddbe958.x86_64 qemu-kvm-6.0.0-33.module+el8.5.0+13041+05be2dc6.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a VM with one bootable disk(used rhel8.5 template latest-rhel-guest-image-8.5-infra), don't run it. 2. Export the VM as OVA. 3. Delete the VM. 4. Import VM from the OVA created in step2. 5. Run the imported VM. Actual results: 1. The imported VM has a bootable disk attached, but it fails to boot because of no bootable device. Expected results: 1. The imported VM should boot successfully. Additional info:
