Description Shimon Shtein 2021-11-04 15:39:50 UTC
Description of problem:

To reduce the amount of file system objects that has to be tracked by the deployment and to enable HA setups to work with rh_cloud plugin, we need to stop using filesystem objects.

One of these objects is inventory upload related tasks output

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Generate and upload a report in rh_cloud
2. Take a look at the filesystem under red_hat_inventory/outputs folder

Actual results:

report_for_* and upload_for_* files exist

Expected results:

No files exist, but the page shows the correct output and status

Comment 2 addubey 2022-01-12 12:02:52 UTC
Verified.

Version Tested: Satellite 7.0.0 Snap 3.0

Steps followed:

1. Generate and upload a report in rh_cloud
2. Take a look at the filesystem under the red_hat_inventory/outputs folder

Observation: - The page shows the correct output and status as expected without the presence of the files.
