glibc-rh741105.patch
We used to have a downstream-only patch for this, I think. Attaching it.
We removed it from glibc-2.32.9000-22.fc34, but it seems that the failure is sporadic, and the patch is still beneficial.
Upstream patch posted: https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2021-November/132686.html If the additional checking for invalid objects is rejected, I'll post a patch to remove the invalid elf/tst-debug1 test instead. Upstream fix has been committed. We can bring this in with another sync with release/2.34/master upstream. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory (new packages: glibc), and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2022:3917 |
