Description Ondrej Mosnacek 2021-11-08 11:33:41 UTC
Description of problem:
Fedora 35 has been already released, yet it still has no osinfo entry on current Fedoras, which means it is impossible to pass it as --os-variant to virt-install.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libosinfo-1.9.0-2.fc35.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. osinfo-query os | grep fedora35

Actual results:
(nothing)

Expected results:
 fedora35 | Fedora 35 | 35 | http://fedoraproject.org/fedora/35

Comment 1 Ondrej Mosnacek 2021-12-09 12:55:12 UTC
Actually, the database files are provided by osinfo-db, not libosinfo - switching the component...

Comment 2 Victor Toso 2021-12-09 13:23:23 UTC
Fedora 35 was added recently with: https://gitlab.com/libosinfo/osinfo-db/-/commit/282848aa725675c0d6b960f0aaad0ca3cdfbb253

I'm going to make a release of osinfo-db and update Fedora Today/Tomorrow.

Comment 3 Victor Toso 2021-12-16 10:32:13 UTC
osinfo-db was release Today [0], builds were just done for all Fedoras [1].
