It's just rebuild with new json-c library, no changes in cryptsetup are needed. Upstream testsuite or ordinary QA regression tests should do the job. Test pass cryptsetup and json-c regression testing . Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
