Description Wyatt Childers 2021-11-10 16:42:03 UTC
Description of problem:
After updating to Fedora 35, Rhythmbox is no longer able to read FLAC audio files metadata.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.4.4

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a new FLAC track to a folder Rhythmbox is watching for new music

Actual results:
The track will be imported but the track name will be the filename and all other attributes will be "Unknown".

Manual updates/corrections also seem to be reset, though I'm not sure what exactly triggers this.

Expected results:
The track will be imported and all associated information will be populated correctly.

Additional info:
Other applications (Dolphin, VLC, Elisa) can read the metadata without issue, and additionally, removing my "$HOME/.local/share/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml" caused this problem to occur for existing FLAC files.
