After thoroughly checking the UI code I see that the only way you can reach to a state where only Object dashboard is shown is if creation of CephCluster(not StorageCluster) had not happened at all. But a NoobaaSystem CR was created. As pointed out this was erroneous at first. This could possibly mean that the CephCluster resource was created after the NoobaaSystem was created which usually is not the flow this happens in the successful installation. In such cases a refresh should have displayed the dashboard.

@bkunal Can you pls verify this once as Bipul suggested via refreshing it?

Comment 14 Nitin Goyal 2021-11-16 12:10:21 UTC
Moving my need info to @badhikar As above was suggested by him.

Comment 15 Mudit Agarwal 2021-11-16 12:51:48 UTC
Bipin, is this reproducible? If not then I am not convinced with the urgent severity.
This might be an intermittent issue if not reproducible and we might need a cluster to debug it properly.
Can we lower it while this is still being discussed?

Comment 17 Bipul Adhikari 2021-11-23 05:35:51 UTC
Noobaa System would get stuck, but we don't expect Noobaa System to be working for the dashboard to be present. We check for the existence of the CR.
Was this a CLI deployment?

No, This was deployed from UI.

Thanks for the info. I am however not able to replicate the issue. Could you perhaps share the exact steps you used to create the cluster? I don't see anything alarming in the logs.
