If the virt-launcher pod logs are missing, please check first if the pod is even present in the cluster. If the virt-launcher pod is expected, but not found in given namespace, must-gather command prints warning bellow:

Please verify with the mtv-operator-bundle-container-v2.2.0-90 / iib:136635, or later.

The issue was tested with MTV build 2.2.0-90 / iib:136635 and looks like it was partially fixed.
When the target namespace is other than openshift-mtv, CDI-importer logs are collected but there are no virt-v2v conversion logs

Sorry for misunderstanding about the log from virt-v2v conversion pods vs. virt-launcher/CDI-import pods.

The issue is reproducible using MTV 2.2.0-96 / iib:137780
virt-v2v conversion logs are not included in the logs file downloaded from UI

Thanks for reporting it, there are outdated (not latest) must-gather images in the deployment.

Seems that we had a race condition between two builds and the wrong commit was used to build 2.2.0-96.

Please verify with the mtv-operator-bundle-container-v2.2.0-97 / iib:138532, or later.

Using MTV 2.2.0-100, I can see that for a migration plan with 2 VMs, one of the available virt-v2v conversion logs is missing (mig-plan-cold-vm-8325-ksqld):
