In Red Hat OpenStack Platform 17.0, a dependency has been removed from the distribution so that the subpackage `collectd-memcachec` cannot be built anymore. The collectd-`memcached` plugin provides similar functionality to that of `collectd-memcachec`.

submitted https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/tripleo-common/+/818235 to get collectd-memcachec removed The plugin is not configurable currently through puppet-collectd. dropping the collectd-memcachec sub-rpm as it is not configurable from puppet-collectd Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
