Description Andrew Schorr 2021-11-18 15:36:38 UTC
Description of problem:
In /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-client.conf, it should say /run/nut, not /var/run/net.
This results in a repeated warning message:
[/usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-client.conf:1] Line references path below legacy directory /var/run/, updating /var/run/nut → /run/nut; please update the tmpfiles.d/ drop-in file accordingly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nut-client-2.7.4-26.el8.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. cat /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-client.conf
2.
3.

Actual results:
D    /var/run/nut 0770 root nut -

Expected results:
D    /run/nut 0770 root nut -

Additional info:
Many rpm installations seem to trigger this annoying tmpfile warning. Please fix it.

Comment 1 Doncho Gunchev 2022-12-04 13:54:55 UTC
Also, the line

ExecStartPre=-/usr/bin/systemd-tmpfiles --create /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-client.conf

should be

ExecStartPre=-/usr/bin/systemd-tmpfiles --create /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-common.conf

(the first file is not present in the package, nut-client-2.8.0-4.fc37.x86_64)
