As commented in the 16.2 BZ, I'll push the code for this feature in 16.1 once the 16.2 code is tested and validated, due to the feature HW dependencies.

According to our records, this should be resolved by openstack-neutron-15.2.1-1.20220112133420.el8ost.  This build is available now.
