Hi,

This doesn't look like a gkrellm bug. Can you file a bug against mutter at bugs.centos.org?

Comment 5 Gerrit Slomma 2021-11-19 18:32:03 UTC
hm, seems like i would need an(other) account for that?

Comment 6 Gerrit Slomma 2021-11-20 00:31:34 UTC
I was not able to reproduce this on a fresh Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5 install from the DVD.

Comment 7 Gerrit Slomma 2021-11-20 00:32:49 UTC
Oh but the 'Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"'-message appears nonetheless.

Comment 8 Gerrit Slomma 2021-11-20 03:10:26 UTC
Could not reproduce on CentOS 8 Stream. (CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux installed on VM)
I think this could be closed on your side.
I suspect something is wrong with my installation.

Comment 9 Gerrit Slomma 2021-11-20 09:08:07 UTC
I removed and reinstalled it. Now at least i go back to the login-page.
I can start it without problems from the command-line.
I am puzzled

Comment 10 Gerrit Slomma 2022-01-13 23:07:49 UTC
Since CentOS 8 was pulled I switched over to CentOS Stream.
Now it is working again, weird "zooming" of gdm at start but comes right back.
Could be closed.
