Description Tomáš Hrnčiar 2021-11-22 14:40:16 UTC
Description of problem:
Package python-spyking-circus fails to build from source in Fedora Rawhide.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.9.7-6.fc35

Steps to Reproduce:
koji build --scratch f36 python-spyking-circus-0.9.7-6.fc35.src.rpm

Additional info:
This package is tracked by Koschei. See:
https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/package/python-spyking-circus

Since Setuptools 58+ upstream removed support for 2to3 during
builds. This is breaking change and thus package is FTBFS.
For more info see this change: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Setuptools_58%2B

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.
