Hello Jhordy,
I am happy that you are interested in packaging Qtile but sad, that I did the same a week ago :-/
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2025124

How are we going to figure this out?
Your spec file looks good (although I don't understand the patches). In mine, I made a couple more changes and migrated the spec file to use py3_build py3_install to simplify it.

Personally, I would prefer if you made a review of 2025124 and once it is added to Fedora, I would add you as co-maintainer. That way you would become a Fedora packager and circumvent the need to find a sponsor for your first package. See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/How_to_Get_Sponsored_into_the_Packager_Group/#become_a_co_maintainer

If you want to do it the other way around and let me review yours, we can do it as well. But we would have to find a sponsor if this is your first package.

Hello Jakub,

This is great, I'll review it and really appreciate you add me as a co-maintainer. I will be aware of anything.

-- so this (bug) would remove it, right?

Thank you very much in advance.

Awesome! :-)

Mark it as a duplicate of 2025124. That will close it.
