(In reply to Gerd Hoffmann from comment #2) > Depends on 1938259 (switch to rhel-9 openssl aka v3.0). Why does it need to depend on that ? There's no interaction with any of the openssl code in the boot logo customization, so they're functionally independent changes. QE bot(pre verify): Set 'Verified:Tested,SanityOnly' as gating/tier1 test pass. Reproduced it with edk2-ovmf-20210527gite1999b264f1f-6.el9.noarch, boot a guest and the initial boot splash screen contains a message about openssl under the tianocore logo. Tested with edk2-ovmf-20210527gite1999b264f1f-8.el9.noarch, the initial boot splash screen contains only the tianocore logo. So set status to VERIFIED. Versions: kernel-5.14.0-42.el9.x86_64 qemu-kvm-6.2.0-3.el9 edk2-ovmf-20210527gite1999b264f1f-8.el9.noarch Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
