This is already fixed in rawhide, see manpage from 5.3.1.x. I'm adding this bug on 4.6 proposed list. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. Description of problem: The man page for snmpusm says in SYNOPSIS: snmpusm [COMMON OPTIONS] [-Co] [-Ca] [-Cx] passwd OLD-PASSPHRASE NEW-PASSPHRASE There is no other mention of -C{o,a,x} Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): net-snmp-5.1.2-11.EL4.7.i386
