This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. So, if I understand correctly, this will be in 4.5, and this BZ can be set to MODIFIED. If so, go ahead. There was a proposal to ship this as a fast path fix. It seems to me as though the benefit of that is pretty small, because there are other fixes in this package that are needed on 4.5 and are not appropriate for fast path. So even if we do a fast path, the package will be in 4.5 anyway. Included in lvm2-2.02.15-3. This cannot be fast fix because of other changes in package which need full qa testing. Marking verified. The '-m' option is documented in lvm2-2.02.17-1. *** Bug 227154 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For more information on the solution and/or where to find the updated files, please follow the link below.
