Description of problem:
Amaya fails to start on FC6t2.

9.5-1.fc6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Amaya from GNOME menu or terminal window.
  
Actual results:
Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  serial 117 error_code 8 request_code 56 minor_code 0


Expected results:
Amaya window.

Additional info:
This problem is identical to bug 199844, i.e. the problem is ongoing since FC5
and isn't restricted to AMD64.
