If I could migrate it to systemd, I would have done that 6 years ago. The audit daemon is required to state who is manipulating the audit trail by many security standards. Systemd uses dbus which obscures the sender. Auditd needs a direct signal in the context of the user wishing manipulate it. There are a number of bugs that were opened for this and are now closed. And it should work under systemd. Can both teams work to fix it? Thank you. Is this a dupe of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1768815? This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1768815 *** |
