Description Troy Dawson 2021-12-06 16:53:16 UTC
Please branch and build perl-Any-URI-Escape in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain perl-Any-URI-Escape in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package.

I have tested and the rawhide package builds in EPEL9 without any changes.

Comment 1 Troy Dawson 2021-12-08 19:14:47 UTC
I don't usually push hard for new packages, but this one in particular is holding up about 200 of the packages in the epel9 KDE Plasma Desktop build.

I have no problem maintaining this package in epel9 if you want, but I am unable to branch it. At the very least, would you be able to branch this and I'll take care of the building and maintenance.

Comment 2 Emmanuel Seyman 2021-12-08 22:35:43 UTC
Heaven forbid we give volunteer packages the weekend to actually branch a package...

Thank you very much.
And once again, I apologize for being pushy. I usually wait a full week being pinging again, but I wanted to do just what you said, work on my packages over the weekend, and I was stuck without yours.
