Description Major Hayden 🤠 2021-12-06 20:29:46 UTC
Please branch and build python-vcrpy in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain python-vcrpy in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package.

This is part of the work to bring azure-cli to EPEL 9.

(Following the process noted in the docs.[0])

Kevin -- I slid in a PR[0] to use pyproject-rpm-macros for python-vcrpy and it drops the dependency list by a decent amount. Upstream has cut their dependencies down a bit and that might make EPEL packaging easier.

This is one of the dependencies I need to backport azure-cli to EPEL9 in BZ 2077853.

Thanks for merging that PR! I requested an epel9 branch and I'll put up a PR for that.

New PR for EPEL 9. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-vcrpy/pull-request/4

Kevin -- did you want me to merge this now that CI passed or did you want to review it?
