Description Oded 2021-12-07 14:12:38 UTC
Describe the issue:
We need to add a new step on section 5.2, "Delete the Disk from relevant worker node."
(5.2. Replacing operational or failed storage devices on clusters backed by local storage devices)

Describe the task you were trying to accomplish:

Suggestions for improvement:
Step 1:
Delete Disk from relevant worker node.

step2:
step 2 is like step 1 (on original doc) but we need to remove the note

NOTE
If the OSD to be replaced is healthy, the status of the pod will be Running.

On Step number 9 (Physically add a new device to the node.), remove the line "Optional: You can also remove the old device."

Comment 3 Oded 2021-12-07 16:22:10 UTC
There is no specific command. It depends on platform. For example in VMWARE we need to delete the disk via vcenter and on BM via CLI

Comment 7 Oded 2021-12-14 13:04:14 UTC
We need to change step 1:

Delete the device from relevant worker node. -> Remove the underlying storage device from relevant worker node.
