Description Troy Dawson 2021-12-08 02:25:14 UTC
Please branch and build openbox in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain openbox in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package.

Comment 1 Troy Dawson 2021-12-08 02:27:56 UTC
I have tested and the rawhide package builds in EPEL9, but first imlib2 has to be added to epel9. I have requested imlib2 in this other bugzilla.

I know you gave me verbal permission to branch, build and maintain the package for epel9. But, even though I am a proven packager, I cannot branch a package without having at least commit permissions on the package.
Could you either branch it for epel9 ( fedpkg request-branch --repo openbox epel9 ) or give me commit access to the package. I can take it from there.

Comment 3 Miroslav Lichvar 2021-12-09 08:02:04 UTC
You should have the access now. Thanks.

Comment 4 Troy Dawson 2021-12-09 14:00:28 UTC
Thank You
I have it branched, and I'm waiting for the dependency packages to be built.
