Description Michel Lind 2021-12-23 04:56:47 UTC
libdwarf is in CRB/PowerTools for RHEL/CentOS 8: https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/centos/8-stream/PowerTools/x86_64/os/Packages/

but it's not in RHEL/CentOS Stream 9: https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms?filter=libdwarf

Could this be branched for EPEL 9? I'm happy to co-maintain (FAS: salimma), and also, if you add the epel-packagers-sig group to the ACL as collaborator on epel* branch, the EPEL Packagers SIG can help branch and build this for future EPEL releases.

Thanks!

Comment 1 Orion Poplawski 2021-12-23 22:55:12 UTC
I've added salimma and epel-packagers-sig to the package.

Debugging a build failure with the latest version from Rawhide. If I can't fix it I might just push the version from F35 first.

Comment 4 Ben Cotton 2022-02-08 20:21:19 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 5 Michel Lind 2022-02-23 00:16:06 UTC
fixed the issue, awaiting Rawhide PR to be merged to make sure we don't diverge.
