Were you able to collect any logs from snapd? Specifically `journalctl -u snapd` would help. Also reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1955580 The problem is caused by a missing bit in the SELinux policy. An enhancement was cherry picked to 2.53.4 but a patch that updated the policy was missed in the process. I'll update to 2.54.1 which includes all the needed changes.
