startkde start non service ,only a grey screen pop up.

You're using a non-Mesa OpenGL driver. This configuration is not supported by Red Hat.

There is no way to compile Qt with 3D support while being compatible with both Mesa and proprietary drivers. The solution to your problem is to get the Qt source RPM and recompile it.

I have alread compiled source qt.2.2.1 i did not work.  I have Riva 128ZX 8M
card with stanard Mesa from rawhide installed.  Utah-glx was installed before
but it has been remove before upgradeing to RedHat linux 7.0	.
