Description Sandro Mani 2022-01-04 09:29:51 UTC
Description of problem:
As noted in the mingw-qt6-qtlocation review bug, there should be a tracking bug that the entire qt6 and mingw qt6 stack is ExcludeArch s390x.

Reason being https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-93101, which depends on fixes for glslang and SPIRV-tools, which have both been merged as of today.

In theory the ExcludeArch should be removable after the next SPIRV-tools and glslang update.

Comment 1 Jan Grulich 2022-01-04 09:34:23 UTC
I already opened PRs for glslang and spirv-tools:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/glslang/pull-request/3
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/spirv-tools/pull-request/4

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 4 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2022-03-06 14:31:58 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 36-beta by Fedora user ngompa using the blocker tracking app because:

This ensures a major component (Qt6) is available across all Fedora architectures at release time.

Comment 7 Geoffrey Marr 2022-03-07 22:28:37 UTC
Discussed during the 2022-03-07 blocker review meeting: [0]

The decision to classify this bug as an "AcceptedFreezeException (Beta)" was made as it is a noticeable issue that cannot be fixed with an update.
