Description Qiao Zhao 2022-01-05 01:53:05 UTC
Description of problem:

Need RHEL 9.0.0 errata for libtraceevent to included latest version.

Current libtraceevent in RHEL9 compose is libtraceevent-1.1.1-5.el9
> RHEL-9.0.0-20220103.2 libtraceevent
> BaseOS: libtraceevent-1.1.1-5.el9
But the latest libtraceevent version: libtraceevent-1.1.1-7.el9

We need to update the libtraceevent to RHEL9 compose to avoid this issue bz#2036852.

Comment 3 Michael Petlan 2022-01-14 15:48:54 UTC
Well, libtraceevent-1.1.1-7.el9 was seized by gating. We can keep waiving it, but I'd rather try to fix it. The problem seems to be that the library does not comply to shared-object linking security requirements.
