Description Robert Scheck 2022-01-15 19:29:52 UTC
Description of problem:
Please build python-nose for EPEL 9. It's at least a build-time dependency of the msoffcrypto-tool package.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
python-nose-1.3.7-36.fc36

Actual results:
No python-nose in EPEL 9.

Expected results:
python-nose-1.3.7-36.el9 or better ;-)

Additional info:
Please let me know if you are not interested in maintaining the package on EPEL 9 branch.

Comment 1 Miro Hrončok 2022-01-16 02:07:49 UTC
python-nose is deprecated in Fedora https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/DeprecateNose and abandoned upstream, let's not build it in EPLE9.

Please, drop the dependency instead. Do you need help with that?

Yes, please.

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2022-01-16 19:53:49 UTC
What package is that?

Comment 4 Robert Scheck 2022-01-16 21:26:24 UTC
It's still msoffcrypto-tool, as mentioned in comment #0 - sorry, if I wasn't mentioning that clearly enough.

Comment 5 Miro Hrončok 2022-01-17 09:38:17 UTC
Oh, my bad.
