Closing the https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2042958 Check https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2042958#c2 for clarification. OCP fix is there in 4.10 Hi Bipul Can you share the version in which it is fixed ? Thanks Mugdha Soni Hi Bipul With the following versions the refresh web console pop up is till redirecting to operator hub page . [root@localhost to]# oc get clusterversion NAME VERSION AVAILABLE PROGRESSING SINCE STATUS version 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-02-15-041303 True False 51m Cluster version is 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-02-15-041303 [root@localhost to]# oc get csv odf-operator.v4.10.0 -o yaml -n openshift-storage| grep full_version full_version: 4.10.0-156 f:full_version: {} Thanks Mugdha HI I recreated the cluster and could see this issue was not fixed . Based on comment#13 moving this bug back to assigned state. Thanks Mugdha This is a tracker please mark the original bug as failed_qa with the above comments. Thank you. I do not believe this bug qualifies as a blocker. The original issue that was brought up in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2013109 was that when the popup appeared and users pressed Refresh it would show the Operator Installation form again which would confuse the user as they had just installed the Operator, however that behavior was fixed and users are now directed to Operator Hub. This fix of making it move to Installed Operators is a medium priority bug or can be considered as an enhancement as well. I propose we remove it as a blocker. Not a 4.10 blocker as discussed offline This is a minor enhancement as mentioned in the above comments, moreover for ODF it is just a tracker. If we really want this bug in 4.11 we should push OCP team to fix it. I can see original bug is closed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2013109 bug has not been fixed https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IdIpncM2ARQ-v0tSqd2q2sbd3Q1TgIL-/view?usp=share_link Sanjal/Bipul, this should have been fixed in 4.13 OCP PR is merged in master long back, can you please check what is the issue here? (In reply to Mudit Agarwal from comment #43) > Sanjal/Bipul, this should have been fixed in 4.13 > OCP PR is merged in master long back, can you please check what is the issue > here? should not it be pack-ported to 4.10? comment #6 states it is already in 4.10? if fix for ODF 4.10, 4.11, 4.12 skipped and not planned I need to check 4.13 and we need to add notification to user about a known issue. seems like there was some confusion in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2042914#c39 and BZ should not have been moved to MODIFIED, even though https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2013109 is closed, resolution is deferred and it is being tracked from Jira: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OCPBUGS-9000, which is still in POST. |
