Description Adam Ruzicka 2022-01-25 10:15:55 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Any

How reproducible:
always

Steps to reproduce:
1) Run any ssh rex job
2) Wait for it to finish
3) Run ps -ef | grep ssh | grep defunct

Actual results:
There is one defunct ssh process per host under the smart proxy (beware, systemctl status foreman-proxy shows only "alive and well" processes)

Expected results:
There are no zombie ssh processes

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34303 has been resolved.

Comment 2 Peter Ondrejka 2022-02-14 14:20:56 UTC
Verified on Satellite 7.0 snap 9, along with bz#2051543
