Description of problem:

Xorg will crash with (recent) NVIDIA closed-source driver in Present code as reported upstream in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/issues/1275

xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.20.11-6

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install NVIDIA driver series 495 or later
2. Build the present tests which come with xf86-video-intel in test/
3. Run one of the present test

   ./present-test

Actual results:

Xorg crashes in Present code

Expected results:

No crash.

Additional info:

This was reported upstream in:

fixed with:
  https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/852

But this is also affecting the 1.20 branch, backport proposed here:

with updated Xorg-X11-srver xorg does not crash after starting present-test. Tested on TU117.
