Description of problem: application may crash when hovering over buttons, icons and text while having multiple tab/windows open.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qbittorrent-4.4.0-1.fc35.x86_64


How reproducible: not always.


Steps to reproduce: go back and forth between your open windows and leave your mouse cursor inactive over an object.


Actual results: might crash at random when multiple tab/windows are overlapping in the background.


Expected results: no crash when hovering over and/or about to click on a button.


Additional info: qbittorrent[10895]: edit: editing failed

Did it start after some update? There was a qt5-qtwayland update which changed some private API and I had to rebuild QGnomePlatform for that reason, can you check you have the latest one from updates-testing and if that makes some difference?

I can reproduce this (or at least a similar) crash with every qt app, by hovering over the minimize/maximize/close buttons while on GNOME wayland

What version of qgnomeplatform and qt5-qtwayland?
