(In reply to comment #0) > Description of problem: > Revival of #187884: emacs does not build on ix86 systems due to segfaults. Bug #187884 doesn't have anything to do with emacs or building!? > It works ok in %build, but it crashes in %install. I am not able to reproduce the problem. I just ran it through our build system, and did an "rpmbuild --rebuild emacs-21.3-4.10.src.rpm" on a RHEL-3 U5 system and it worked with no problems. What is your build platform? Chip This bug is filed against RHEL 3, which is in maintenance phase. During the maintenance phase, only security errata and select mission critical bug fixes will be released for enterprise products. Since this bug does not meet that criteria, it is now being closed. For more information of the RHEL errata support policy, please visit: http://www.redhat.com/security/updates/errata/ If you feel this bug is indeed mission critical, please contact your support representative. You may be asked to provide detailed information on how this bug is affecting you. |
