Description Michel Lind 2022-01-28 19:01:44 UTC
Please branch and build perl-Socket-MsgHdr in epel8.

If you do not wish to maintain perl-Socket-MsgHdr in epel8,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-Socket-MsgHdr/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma).

Comment 4 Michel Lind 2022-01-31 18:37:48 UTC
Thanks, but I actually need this for EPEL 8 as well, can it be branched and built for it too?

Comment 5 Emmanuel Seyman 2022-01-31 19:28:48 UTC
Sorry, there are a lot of EPEL9 bugs right now and it's easy to mix the versions up.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
