it  seems that this issue was fixed upstream https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/4791

If we backport the shell change, we probably want https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/merge_requests/1107 as well.
