Description Jan Kratochvil 2006-09-01 17:06:40 UTC
Description of problem:
Running on RawHide/development system and my gnome-terminal started to "grep ."
all the copy-pasted text.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
vte-0.13.7-1.fc6.i386
gnome-terminal-2.15.4-1.fc6.i386

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start gnome-terminal with shell.
2. Type: echo -e '1\n\n2\n3';cat >/dev/null
3. Mark the FOUR lines and paste it back.

Actual results:
Only THREE lines get pasted.

Expected results:
All the FOUR lines (inluding the empty one) would get pasted as in FC5.

Additional info:
Left/middle mouse or menu copy/paste have the same effect.
Problem is with the "copy" part. Copying from Galeon and pasting it to
gnome-terminal is fine.
Not tested vte anywhere else than with gnome-terminal.

This is already fixed upstream. A release for final GNOME 2.16.0 will be made
this weekend and pushed into rawhide. Thanks.
