Description Davide Cavalca 2022-02-04 15:07:11 UTC
Please branch and build libglade2 in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain libglade2 in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libglade2/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

Comment 1 Yaakov Selkowitz 2022-02-04 16:40:56 UTC
Please explain why you want this package. At this point it is extremely obsolete, and we'd all be better off not committing to extending it another 10 years without a really good reason.

Comment 2 Davide Cavalca 2022-02-04 17:52:37 UTC
I'm packaging tilp in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2048271 . This was historically available in EPEL (under the tilp2 package), and I would like to continue that in EPEL 9 if possible. It looks like libglade2 is the only missing dependency for it, hence this ticket.

Comment 3 Yaakov Selkowitz 2022-02-04 18:36:20 UTC
I guess I'll look into this for EPEL9 then.
