Description Jean D. Boyle 2022-02-05 07:34:59 UTC
Description of problem:
Hello fellow users of Fedora,

I get the following error message on a physical desktop, but I have not yet been able to reproduce this error in a vm.

When using a verified live medium of Fedora35 again during a reinstall, I get this error message each time when I do the following:
0) Installing Fedora35
1) Setting the Language to English UK
2) Setting my keyboard to French (Belgian), the time zone is correct though
3) Select my Samsung 970 1 TB Evo Plus
4) Reclaim the full disk with Autmoatic selected
5) Installing Fedora 35
6) Around Configuring storage, I get this error message

Although the installer works just fine when I do Reclaim -> Keyboard with a proper Fedora35, I can re-produce this error message when I do the above, thus Keyboard -> Reclaim. Thus the work around is to Reclaim, then Keyboard.

Therefore, it seem to me that I can re-produce this error when I do Keyboard -> Reclaim, but not when I do Reclaim -> Keyboard. However, I do not know what the real true cause is of this error.

Either way and like I have said already, as I can get arround this error message, by just restarting the installer, I will restart the installer to install it with Reclaim -> Keyboard.

Thanks

It seems to be an issue in the storage configuration library. Reassigning to blivet.
