Description HighPoint Linux Team 2006-09-06 06:20:13 UTC
Description of problem:

Fedora Core 6 Test 2 won't install onto a HighPoint RocketRAID 3220 controller.
As the driver module (hptiop.ko) is in the kernel rpm it should also be added
to the modules.cgz in initrd image.

The following files need to be updated in initrd.img:

1. modules/module-info:

hptiop
	scsi
	"RocketRAID 3xxx SATA RAID Controller"

2. modules/modules.alias:

alias pci:v00001103d00003220sv*sd*bc*sc*i* hptiop
alias pci:v00001103d00003320sv*sd*bc*sc*i* hptiop

3. modules/modules.dep:

hptiop: scsi_mod

4. modules/pci.ids:

1103 HighPoint Technologies, Inc.
	3220 RocketRAID 3220 SATA RAID
	3320 RocketRAID 3320 SATA RAID

5. modules/modules.cgz

Add hptiop.ko module
