Description Manu Sunil 2022-02-12 22:18:17 UTC
Description of problem:

- Reverting from the Edit page on a client returns to the old UI instead of the new one

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

- satellite-7.0.0-0.5.beta.el7sat.noarch
- foreman-3.1.1.4-1.el7sat.noarch

How reproducible:

- Always

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Register a host to the Satellite

2. Ensure that the new details UI is enabled.

Satellite WebUI: Administer --> Settings --> General --> New host details UI --> Yes

3. Access the client on the UI

Satellite WebUI: Hosts --> All Hosts --> Select the Host --> Edit

4. Cancel the edit action with the Cancel button.

Actual results:

- The Cancel button returns to the old UI instead of the new one.

Expected results:

- Cancel should return to the new UI again.

Verified with steps:
Satellite WebUI: Administer --> Settings --> General --> New host details UI --> Yes
Satellite WebUI: Hosts --> All Hosts --> Select the Host --> Edit

also other approaches works correctly
Satellite WebUI: Hosts --> All Hosts --> Edit host
when the form is wrongly filled, cancel after validation error navigates back to new UI

also when New host details UI --> No,
there seem to be no effect on this action
