This bug will require a fix which is basically a backport of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2039698. However the new logic for service controller i.e the lb per service made this fix easier on 4.9 and 4.10. It is a little difficult to backport this fix to <4.9 -> this means a new PR will be needed for the <4.8 versions, will discuss this with the team and update the bugzilla once a decision is made.
