Is this a regression from Satellite 6.10? Just tested the same on Satellite 6.9 and 6.10 and there it works fine, it is new behavior on 7.0 Snap 9.0 Connecting redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34747 from this bug After having a conversation with Jan, Verified this Bugzilla in Satellite 6.11 and snap 20. The main issue mentioned by Jan is resolved but the underneath issue is still not fixed when we use the Activation Key tab. Steps: 1. Create a host group with parameters and submit it. 2. Try to edit the same group by adding a content view and then selecting the activation key and clicking on submit. 3. the parameters in parameter tabs are getting reset. The error displayed as "Name can't be blank" Marking this as Failed QA and assigned back again. Thanks Omkar, I created a fix in https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/10117 and connected it to https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34747 as well Moving to POST as the upstream PR referenced in comment 14 has been merged. *** Bug 2092860 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** verified on Satellite 6.11 in snap 23 it is fixed. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
