Description Ben Beasley 2022-02-24 16:26:47 UTC
Please branch and build catch in EPEL9. While catch1 is already there, a number of projects do require catch 2.x for their tests.

It looks like the current spec file in Rawhide can be used as-is. Please let me know if I can assist in any way.

Sorry but I don't do EPEL I'm afraid.

If you're a packager and you want to take on an EPEL branch then that's fine and I can add you.

Comment 2 Ben Beasley 2022-02-24 17:03:00 UTC
Yes, I’m happy to take care of the EPEL9 branch (FAS music).

I see that @orion is the current EPEL bug assignee for this package. Orion, are you still intending to take care of the existing EPEL8 and EPEL7 branches?

If not, you can make me the EPEL bug assignee too.

Comment 3 Orion Poplawski 2022-02-25 05:08:26 UTC
I'm pretty swamped and so would love for someone else to take this on. I've added you to the package but for some reason it's giving an error when I try to set you as the EPEL bugzilla assignee. Thanks.
